Ducks in a Row
We created a separate vanity with knee space as a nice dressing area so if your partner is in the shower you can get ready in your own area. Also, for the women who loves shoes, shoes and more shoes this elegant open rack is great for the ones you wear often or you change them out seasonally. The mirrored closet doors were the perfect idea when you want a mirror for your workouts.

Rounded wall? address it with style by using thinly cut mosaic tiles laid horizontally. Making a great design impact we choose to emphasize the back wall with Aquastone's Glass AS01 Mini Brick. Allowing the back curved wall to be centerstage we used SF MG01 Cultural Brick Gloss and Frost on the side walls, and SF Venetian Ivory flat pebble stone on the shower floor. Allowing for the most open feel possible we chose a frameless glass shower door with chrome handles and chrome shower fixtures, this shower is fit for any luxury spa-like bathroom whether it be 20 floors up in a downtown high-rise or 20' underground in a Bunker! to the left, a velvet curtain adds privacy for the raised floor toilet room.
The Renowned Group
The Master Bath needed some updates as it suffered from an out of date, extra large tub, a very small shower and only one sink. Keeping with the Mood, a new larger vanity was added in a beautiful dark green with two sinks and ample drawer space, finished with gold framed mirrors and two glamorous gold leaf sconces. Taking in a small linen closet allowed for more room at the shower which is enclosed by a dramatic black framed door. Also, the old tub was replaced with a new alluring freestanding tub surrounded by beautiful marble tiles in a large format that sits under a deco glam chandelier. All warmed by the use of gold fixtures and hardware.

A unique space deserved a unique design. Simplicity was key in this space. A large soaking tub is angled beautifully showing itself off to the rest of the space with a stone and teak background supporting its beauty. Castle Building & Remodeling
No strangers to remodeling, the new owners of this St. Paul tudor knew they could update this decrepit 1920 duplex into a single-family forever home.
A list of desired amenities was a catalyst for turning a bedroom into a large mudroom, an open kitchen space where their large family can gather, an additional exterior door for direct access to a patio, two home offices, an additional laundry room central to bedrooms, and a large master bathroom. To best understand the complexity of the floor plan changes, see the construction documents.
As for the aesthetic, this was inspired by a deep appreciation for the durability, colors, textures and simplicity of Norwegian design. The home’s light paint colors set a positive tone. An abundance of tile creates character. New lighting reflecting the home’s original design is mixed with simplistic modern lighting. To pay homage to the original character several light fixtures were reused, wallpaper was repurposed at a ceiling, the chimney was exposed, and a new coffered ceiling was created.
Overall, this eclectic design style was carefully thought out to create a cohesive design throughout the home.
Come see this project in person, September 29 – 30th on the 2018 Castle Home Tour.

This bathroom remodel took a small master bathroom and made it much more comfortable and functional with floor-to-ceiling storage, a knee wall to separate off the commode, a corner closet, and a beautiful seamless-glass shower with two shower benches.
