Having received much attention at a Home Show in which it had been built on site and in response to the many requests for the addition of a garage to plan 3713, we are pleased to present model 3713-V1. The addition of a garage that is 14’ wide and almost 28’ deep is sure to meet the needs of the many who specifically requested this convenient feature.
Outside, the addition of a garage clad in fibre cement panels with cedar siding matches the rest of the structure for a pleasing visual impact and definite curb appeal.
Inside, other than the service entrance from the garage, this plan shares the same laudable features as its predecessor such as 9’ ceilings throughout the main level, a modern fireplace in the living room, a kitchen with an 8’ x 3’ island and computer corner, nicely sized bedrooms with ample closet space that includes a walk-in in the master bedroom and a full bathroom with separate 42” x 60” shower enclosure.

Metropolis Drafting and Construction IncCreation of a new master bathroom, kids’ bathroom, toilet room and a WIC from a mid. size bathroom was a challenge but the results were amazing.
The master bathroom has a huge 5.5'x6' shower with his/hers shower heads.
The main wall of the shower is made from 2 book matched porcelain slabs, the rest of the walls are made from Thasos marble tile and the floors are slate stone.
The vanity is a double sink custom made with distress wood stain finish and its almost 10' long.
The vanity countertop and backsplash are made from the same porcelain slab that was used on the shower wall.
The two pocket doors on the opposite wall from the vanity hide the WIC and the water closet where a $6k toilet/bidet unit is warmed up and ready for her owner at any given moment.
Notice also the huge 100" mirror with built-in LED light, it is a great tool to make the relatively narrow bathroom to look twice its size.

The basement sauna has a bathroom that we decided to do in black to emphasize the experience of transporting yourself to an exotic place, "like when you go on vacation." The only points of color are the plants, the white of the countertops and the oak wood of the washbasin cabinets. The bathroom has a large shower with double taps.

EastWing ArchitectsSecond floor, master bathroom addition over existing garage. This spacious bathroom includes two vanities, a make-up counter, custom tiled shower with floating stone bench, a water closet and a soaker tub.
N C RThe master bathroom is a complete change from the original layout including installing a bathtub where there was none, adding a shower on the opposite side of the bathroom and also moving the vanities as well as removing a wall between two rooms to create a larger space. The teak wood platform for the bathtub was an addition to the project after it was found out that the 4” slurry topper to the cement slab could not be 100% removed due to structural constraints. This necessitated us to move the plumbing to above the floor line so the platform covers this plumbing.
