dRemodelingWith dark veining and gently recessed paneling, this Dura Supreme Vanity was a great fit for the project. Complimenting the dark black trim of the tiling on the backsplash, the vanity ties in seamlessly into the space. Additionally, with the vanity's soft Calacatta Laze Marble countertop, its soft gray veining provides a medium within the palette of the space, creating uniformity within the contrast of the white and black space.
Tetrachrome Design, LLCComplete remodel from a classic 1950s pastel green tile to a bright modern farmhouse bathroom. Bright white walls and subway tile naturally reflect light and make the bathroom feel crisp and bright. Navy painted shiplap behind the vanity adds to the farmhouse style. A gorgeous antique gray oak double vanity with Italian Carrara marble countertop finished with chrome fixtures is the centerpiece of the room.

Colour Confidence InteriorsThis is a (slightly distorted) birds-eye view of the new combined bathroom and laundry showing the wc, bath with shower over, farmhouse sink, laundry zone.
A frosted glass entry door also lets light into this room whilst still offering privacy.
Hidden from view is the ironing board which is in the top right drawer and stacks away when not needed. LED strip lighting under all the overhead cupboards helps make this internal apartment bathroom bright and offers extra task lighting to the bench-tops if required. The fittings are a real star here with the imported brushed nickel taps, accessories and grab rails (which double as towel rails) and it was so nice to get rid of the dryer with this washer/dryer combo. The addition of the Missoni towels to add a hint of colour and pattern is all that is needed.

However, if you’ve dreamt of a roll-top bath or a walk-in shower with heating at, then you might want to take longer looking for each item individually. You want to consider the storage they offer while also making sure they make an attractive feature as you enter your bathroom. Don’t forget you need them to be durable and withstand the damp conditions, e.g. if you’re going for a painted cabinet make sure the paint is suitable for baths. The great thing is that both floor tiles and wall tiles come in a huge variety of sizes, styles, colours and patterns, so you can remodel your room completely with whatever tile choices fit with your bathroom ideas. When it comes to flooring, tiles will be durable, easy to clean and deal well with water, but if you want something different you could go with modern concrete, traditional or country-style treated wooden floorboards, or a bit more quirky bamboo, cork or vinyl.
