Houzz Tour: Welcome to Our New London Office
Our European headquarters just moved into a new home in London and we’re opening our doors to take you on a tour
Welcome to Houzz’s new home in the UK. Our shiny European headquarters have had a Houzz-style makeover and we’re opening our doors to take you on a tour of our new pad. Take a peek at our Mediterranean meeting room, snoop around our Italian dressing room and soak up the views from our rooftop terrace.
The Houzz café is the hub of our new home and it’s where teams meet for breakfast, lunch and birthday celebrations. It also doubles up as an informal meeting area or workspace throughout the day.
We’ve got our name in lights! An exposed brick wall and reclaimed wooden table add an industrial edge to the dining space, while Tolix chairs in Houzz green add vibrant colour.
The aim of the office redesign was to create a home-from-home environment for the whole team to enjoy. Each floor is open-plan and there are meeting rooms and breakout areas peppered throughout each level.

Team meetings take on a distinctly summery feel in our garden room. With soft grass underfoot, blue sky above and a beautiful garden mural to admire, it’s summer all year round. There are also a few garden gnomes hidden around the room if you look closely.
Give me an ‘H’, give me an ‘O’, give me a ‘U’…! Houzzers and visitors can take their pick of these meeting booths that run the width of the third floor.
Soundproofed and snug, they’re a great spot for a quick group catch-up, as well as providing a sheltered, quiet space for concentration and contemplation.
Six is the current record for ‘the most people in a meeting booth’, but the title is up for contention.

The meeting spaces and breakout areas each represent a different room in the home. Our British library room has a refined air thanks to a chesterfield sofa, antique book wallpaper and vintage accessories. The wearing of ties is optional…
Two Shell chairs, customised for us by Carl Hansen in Houzz green, greet visitors on the third floor.
Each floor has a Houzz café, well stocked with snacks, cereals, fruit, tea and coffee. The dining tables and benches also double up as a meeting area, and the kettle is always on for visitors.

Our family wall in the Houzz café sports an ever-growing collage of staff family photos. Children, parents, siblings and friends of Houzzers have all made it onto the wall of fame and there’s room for more….
Welcome to Paris. Our penthouse floor has a Parisian living room area for anyone in need of an elegant design fix. This cosy corner also has views of the Shard.
Some meeting rooms are a little more energetic than others. The sports room features a ping-pong table for standing meetings and a basketball hoop for sports enthusiasts.
A blackboard wall behind the basketball hoop provides a creative outlet for artistically inclined Houzzers.
The Houzz logo greets visitors to the fifth floor and a Houzz-green telephone box provides a quiet zone for making calls. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views across the London skyline and glass-walled meeting rooms run along the centre of the space.
Fancy a trip to the Mediterranean? Houzzers and visitors can get a slice of coastal life in this beach-inspired meeting room.
With yacht-style seating, crisp white walls and the Mediterranean sea glittering in the background, it’s a popular space for weekly meetings.
It’s also the perfect room for a spot of blue sky thinking…

Who inspired the wardrobe area? Step forward our snappily dressed Italian team! It can be hard to tell where the real clothes rail ends and the trompe l’oeil begins.
We’ve basked in the sun many times already on our roof terrace. With a 360 degree view of London we can see St Paul’s Cathedral, St Pancras railway station and the Shard from our lofty perch. Birthday celebrations take place up here in the summer months and the rooftop barbecue is always ready for whenever the sun comes out.
