1, 3, and 9 would be my faves, for their apparent simplicity and clean lines.

All look absolutely beautiful, but I would urge thought for people who are slightly disabled. Anyone with arthritic knees or hips, or even feet, needs to grip the hand rail firmly to enable them to travel both up and down stairs. Some of these beautiful stairways would be impossible to traverse if there was a slightly disabled or elderly person in the family.
