Comments (4)shelly12345...not sure if you have completed your fireplace/room, just saw this post while looking for help with my own family room. I think would paint the fireplace and mirror white...would match the trim work of your room and your lighter furnishings. Something that was suggested to me...use some fabric or poster board to cover the wood on both, just to give you an idea of what it would look like white. That way you are not committed once the paint has been applied to the wood. I love Dytectur's idea of wallpapering the room and having the fireplace wall white. Would really pop! Good luck and post pictures if your finished or when you finish....See MoreTile/border help!
Comments (1)If you want the look in the showroom photo, you need to do all tile in the same direction. If you started with vertical, you need to stick with vertical. It might be a blessing in disguise since it will make your ceilings appear taller. On the floor, make the long end of the tile run with your longest wall....See MoreHow to make a tile wall look like a painted wall
Comments (0)I need to tile a couple of walls in my bathroom which in the original design were meant to be painted. The painted walls would look better, but it's not possible now. So is there any tips on how to make a tiled wall look more like a painted one. I was thinking perhaps by using large matt tiles with grouting of the same colour? The colour is white for the tiles....See MoreHexagonal tile backsplash - which grout
Comments (2)Hi there! We think a white grout is probably your best option here, if you don't want it to look too busy. This is one of our hexagon mosaic tile displays we have in the TileStyle showroom and we have used white grout for this. As you can see, the shape of the tile is still very much visible but it's still a more subtle look that's not too busy. Hope this helps and whatever you decide, we wish you the best of luck with your new kitchen :) If you need any further advice we'd be more than willing to help, just give us a call on +353 1 855 5200 or pop-us an email HERE!...See MoreSandeep Virdee
