Wet an area of a couple of square metres with a sponge and leave for ten minutes. You can then use a wallpaper stripper and scraper. You may find it helps to lightly score the surface to break up the paint.
You’re very welcome. Follow the instructions on your wallpaper stripper regarding how long to leave it pressed to the paper each time, but it really needs to be pretty wet to scrape off easily. Use sharp scrapers pressed flat to the wall to avoid gouging into the plaster and have to fill lots of holes afterwards!
