Garden wall cladding

Hi, I'm looking for ideas on what colours/style of short garden wall cladding and coppings. We've just laid the classic mixed pattern kandla grey sandstone. Not looking for ultra modern and render isn;t really an option as some of the walls are only 30cm high!

There are lots of nice coping stones you could try such as slate (a lovely charcoal grey) or just some Indian Sandstone in a smaller rectangle similar to the patio? You can get all sorts of cladding for walls, but would you consider keeping the current yellow bricks and top with slate? I think it would look good.

Hi everyone, We recently purchased a new build home, and with that comes a new " garden" which currently consists of mud and walls.... And lots of both! I'd really love any tips or advice you might have on what I should do with this blank canvas as I'm very new to gardening and don't know where to start! Considering building a wall (no pun intended) along the left and right sides of the garden in this photo Left side Right side A similar type of brick to the ones used here The overall objective is brighten up the garden without trying to make it look too flashy. On the left side I'd like to plant Portuguese laurel for privacy and prevent overlooking from the adjoining property. The slide and swings in the photo have to go due to wear and will replace with a treehouse at the bottom of the garden beside the blue shed. The garden is approx. 20 metres long and 10 metres wide. Would really appreciate any design tips or potential pitfalls...

I would use some tall grasses. The roots would keep that soil stitched together well. They have little maintenance and look fantastic in the light and breeze.

You could clad them in a material like corten steel if you wanted something more modern. black or grey slate tiles along the top would create a focal point but not useful if you wanted to use them for seating. You could also use a composite to cover the brickwork as it appears quite yellow while your paving is definitely grey.
