Help with bedroom decor DIY

Hi I am new to Houzz & beginner when it comes to DIY but eager to take on this bedroom project myself. Room size is width 4.1 m, length 3.3 m. I have built in wardrobes but don’t like the colour & door design. Any ideas on what I can do to them or should I just buy new doors?

I like neutral colour schemes but not sure what to pick to go with my dresser, locker & bed. Also love the view from our bedroom window (east facing) and would like to capture light as much as possible, but also feel cosy & warm.

Thanks! Yeah I tried to rotate the bed so the headboard would be opposite the radiator but it meant the wardrobe doors wouldn't open. I may need to change the bed frame to include storage space alright but it would need to add height not width which is tricky to find ready made. I like the idea of a loft bed but since it's rented I don't think I could really do anything that involves attaching to walls...

Congratulations on the new digs! :-) Pick your bedding first. From the bedding, pick a light neutral for the walls to play off the dark wood. You can have paint mixed to exactly match! Then, use another color in the bedding, if present, as your accent color. Usually, the best mix is 60% the main color, 30% the secondary color, and 10% a pop of a 3rd color. In the bath, look for a shower curtain in your wall color and towels in it and your secondary colors. Good luck!

Your window is a main accent. And you need to make a start from its. I recommend you to do the follow: - open your window as much as possible. This will make the room larger; - decorate the window by asymmetrical or direct curtain (examples are below), starting right from the ceiling. It is best to use a solid color textile; - if your cabinet is not particularly necessary, I would have replaced it on the floor lamp; - on the other side, you can fold the high stack of books and use them as a decorative stand; - make a picture in passe-partout with glass and dark gray baguette frame. Add to it a vertical series of small monochrome photographs (eg sepia), and also complete passe-partout in pastel tones; - fur pillows should be replaced by textile pillows with dark gray graphic pattern; - it will be better the other pictures on the walls to remove
