Hi,
We're so confused. We want solid oak door bars. It's going between hard floor and carpet but not quite the same height.
Can someone explain to me please, when fitting carpet under a wooden door bar should the gap between floor board and underneath door bar be tighter than the underlay and carpet so it is a tight tucked in fit? Or is it OK to fit carpet to gripper as you would at the skirting and then simply place the door var essentially for decorative effect?
