Downstairs bathroom! Where to build?

Can we build a downstairs bathroom with a window on this floor plan? We had a couple of ideas and nothing seems to be working as of now.
1. I tried designing it at the rear of the house with a possible 3*6 extension but it seems like we need to have a door to the bathroom via the kitchen (doesn't seem like a good idea). Maybe I am doing something wrong. Is there a way we can have a bathroom at the rear in this floor plan?
2. Then I thought of having a bathroom at the front, by converting a narrow garage into a small room for 2 elders with a bathroom in the front.
