Need help choosing wall lights for mirrored wall cabinet in bathroom
Comments (4)Thank you, Stan, for your advice. I was contemplating putting a similar light like yours above the cabinet, but decided I prefer lights on either side, as there is a lot of space which I'd like to fill a little. I will also put them on top of tiles, so another point to consider. The ones I had chosen only protrude 90 mm from the wall, so I wonder if they should protrude at least the same as the cabinet, which is 150 mm, to illuminate the face, when putting on make up or in general. Here is a picture of the lights I really liked...and another one in a room situation ( not my bathroom), but they are next to a mirror with minimal depth. I like them a lot, but am open to other options, just wondered about projection....See MoreBathroom vanity unit too small for space
Comments (5)If it was me, I would centre it and only silicone the back. I understand your concerns about water going down the side. Realistically, though, as you will only be washing your hands and maybe teeth in it, there is unlikely to be much water gushing about. To detract from the fact there is not as much space on either side of sink, I would have carpenter either wall mount or put legs on the cabinet so there is space underneath and the unit doesn't look too chunky!...See MoreNeed help with my bathroom
Comments (0)Hi, I need some advice on what colour I should paint my family bathroom. It has dark grey floor tiles, freestanding shower, bath and wash basin with with the same grey tiles behind. It has a mahogany brown window and window still with frosted glass. It is painted Farrow & Ball Lichen Green. It's very dark and I need to brighten it up all suggestions very welcome. Thank you....See MoreFront of house bathroom
Comments (0)Hi, We are soon to start a renovation project. We are happy with most of the plans. However, the bathroom will now be at the front of the house and we are struggling to visualize what it will look like. I have attached a sketch of the before and after and one of the side part of the extension. We just feel the window will look small and may look off-balance with the rest of the house. Does anyone have suggestions or examples of bathrooms at the front of a semi-detached home? Any advice would be appreciated!! Thanks! Sinead...See MoreUser
