hi guys. I'm about to paint our front door. I'm going to strip the paint first using paint stripper and possibly a heat gun. however on examining the door I've noticed lots of cracks. I've attached photos although I don't know if they show how deep the cracks are. it's an old house 1930 and I'm nervous about peeling back the paint and the door falling apart. I was going to attempt filling the cracks with wood filler. would this be the way to approach this? many thanks Barbara

Thanks I had been thinking of Black but was afraid it might look to austere as we have so much grey stone and the house is part of a 3 acre walled ( high grey stone ) garden but just had another look at black doors and some look very smart
