Jalna99--Do you mean that there is no patio outside the front door? Or do you mean that you would like to pull the exterior door forward, under the existing porch roof enough to facilitate movement between rooms more easily? Both actions will require drawings and permits, I have little doubt, The second opton is much more substantial, because you would be creating new habitable space to what is now the exterior side of the structure. I suggest looking through the Houzz resources, and choosing a good bloke with the proper training in design that can steer you through the design and permit process to the extent that it will serve your immediate needs. The art in the last pic is hung way too high. I would suggest the shoe storage from Ikea with the flip down front is that a radiator in the hall where the stuff is sitting on top if not that is where the shoe storage could go with some nice hooks above for the coats that are used each day. Can the double buggy not be parked outside with a clear plastic cover to protect it instead of in this very small space.

Hi we need major curb appeal help! We are able to change the siding, we can paint and change the eaves or gutters, the windows have to stay in place but we can change the style or add grills etc... The roof stays (Timberlane Shakewood color) and our door is going to be moved. We purchased a 6 lite craftsman door. It will go where there is an existing window and will face the driveway and street. We do a lot of gardening so we were thinking of a cottage or bungalow look. We like the look of cedar shake siding and we also think a pergola in the front would help break up the space but would love any drawings or advice to help us visualize a changed look.

Hello! We are slowly renovating our "millennium builder" style house on the West Coast. Orange clay tile roof, stucco, two-tone brick details. My style is typically modern but I think the house is begging for a more transitional style because of all of it's symmetry.
