Need backsplash ideas
I recently changed my counter tops to a white, creamy, brown quartz ( Viatera Clarino). They were black before! The idea now is to get a backsplash that will go with my wood cabinets AND white cabinets if we decide to paint them later on. Any suggestions? I want it to have a “pop” since my counters are very simple. Thanks.

last yearlast modified: last yearcream color subway tile. that works with floor and grain in counter. I dont think a PoP is what you need here simplicity will keep in uniform If you want a pop, change those pendants. They fall rather flat and seem too big, could be hung a little higher as well. changing your cabinet pulls could help too.

Comments (9)Thank you for your suggestions and ideas! I love some of the more daring/colourful ideas, but I don't think I'm, personally, bold enough to go with such a contemporary look. I'm going to stick to a traditional/modern style and use large (4" x 8") white subway tiles and dark grey grout. I'm thinking of using a dark grey paint around the kitchen walls and then a lighter shade around the rest of the room, with maybe the dark grey on the wall behind the TV too. Comments (3)I would suggest white cabinets with a dark grey Caesarstone counter. The splashback will be the variable with lots of options. 12 months agoIt looks like you already have a 4 inch backsplash, so you could just remove the current backsplash and then paint the walls. You could've just used the countertop as a backsplash as well, see one of our current designs included here:

12 months agoSince you’d like a backsplash with some pop, and you have such a small area to cover, I’d search for a solid stone slab that complements both your wood cabinets and white countertop.
