Bay Window Living Room Design Help

I am decorationally challenged and need help decorating my living room. It is off our entrance way. It is 12' x 15.1'. If possible, it'd like to keep my Grandmother's nesting tables and the Persian rug in the room.

There is only one really wall which I think it can be placed and its infront of my window which I think is blocking light ? And is against curtains . I'm thinking of also get roman curtain blinds in a pelmet box to avoid that ? I'm looking for any advice or inspiration I don't mind changing the style decor of the room ? 10 years agoWe are Elevation C with the Bay Window. The 'Library' is an office with a door. Two cats & two teenagers - whom hopefully won't use the room much. More traditional then anything. The purpose of the room would be a sitting room - no TV. We are a few houses down the street from the Lake so can see it from the side of the window. The paint in the Hall is Benjamin Moore Shaker Beige. I appreciate all and any advice.:-)
