hi, what are the materials used for the posts and wood slats? Are the posts painted or powder coated?

    I believe the wood was doug fir or cedar and the posts and frame are steel.

    Ty and it's beautiful! How has the doug fir held up? From looking at other comments, this was built in 2016? We are building one ourselves but are afriad of using real wood bc of the maintenance and durability. Would love to know if you recommend real wood after all these years
