Hawaiin Palm turning yellow

My brighamia insignis which I bought from a local garden center is continuously turning yellow. There are new leaves growing through but the grown leaves are dying. I wait for the soil to dry before watering again and have a humidifier for it. It is away from the window as it can get a bit colder there and I know they don't like cold temperatures. I believe it's getting enough sunlight and there are no pests present on the plant that I can see. I'm at a bit of a loss.
