Best tape to seal leaky felt roof?

Hi,


I have a small (invisible) split in my felt roof and have been told to 'bung a bit of waterproof tape' on it.


I'd like to know which tape is good for this.

    Ah - I was up in the middle of the night, with a bucket under the light fitting in my ensuite, too !!
    Hope you manage to get it fixed !
