quickstep laminate - colour

Hi all

I am buying navy/midnight blue kitchen units with marble effect white quartz worktops.

Are there any colours for the flooring from quickstep that you recommend in particular within the “impressive” range as they call it?

I would suggest white tiles for the flooring it will match with the worktops. You should get samples and match with the worktops.

I think you should have a look at soft oak medium, classic oak beige or sandblasted oak natural - get some samples or go to the store and compare how these look like with the colour of your fronts, if you've got any samples of these:)

Either could be laid- you would need to use different adhesives on the wood or concrete though. There isn't much difference between- I would look for a reputable supplier and not online though as the decent quality may not be there. Any tiles can be laid on a diagonal if your tiler is good enough! Jade

Epoxy resin worktops and colour choices

Hi we would like to change our worktops and backsplash in our kitchen. Has anyone had epoxy resin applied to change worktops. What is the finish like? We will be upgrading whole kitchen in a few years but just want to brighten up what we have. We have elephants breath on the units and black laminate worktops presently. What colour would you put with the units? I'm drawn to the white quartz worktops but I'm not sure if it would be too stark against the warmth of elephants breath?

Not sure what floor colour to choose .. we are going with laminate floor but has anyone any ideas ? Or maybe paint the tiles on the wall etc or how would you make this kitchen work

Thank you Marma and La Vida.

I got samples and have now decided to go with a halfway between both of your great suggestions.

Specifically I liked the soft oak medium but actually went for the soft oak light which was slightly whiter. Hopefully this gives me the best of both worlds!

I will post a picture in a few months once the extension is installed!
