I think you should have a look at soft oak medium, classic oak beige or sandblasted oak natural - get some samples or go to the store and compare how these look like with the colour of your fronts, if you've got any samples of these:)
I got samples and have now decided to go with a halfway between both of your great suggestions.
Specifically I liked the soft oak medium but actually went for the soft oak light which was slightly whiter. Hopefully this gives me the best of both worlds!
I will post a picture in a few months once the extension is installed!
