To waterfall or not

Hi, i was wondering if I could get opinions on waterfall edged Islands in an open plan kitchen/dining/living
We need to decide whether to have it or not, and whilst I do find the look beautiful, will I still love it in 5 years time.
Rough estimate is £1000 more to have it

    Can you afford £1000? It's not a huge amount in the whole price of the average kitchen. If it's what you really want....

    I wouldn't as I don't like them....

    I don’t like that look, sorry! However if you love it then go for it. We all like different things.

    I love a waterfall edge but you need to consider if you are going to see it enough to justify the cost

    I also love a waterfall edge. It completes the look.

    I think the waterfall is pretty but I personally prefer having accessible storage. But it’s down to personal preference
