Need help with a serious Garden Make over.

Our house has been complete made over and now the garden is looking a bit sorry and need a loving make over too. The idea is to make some some creening up the side of the drive, keep a large lawn area, but make it soft but comtemporary at the same time. The garden main garden is at the front of the house and we have a smaller walled area to the back. I think we'd like to keep the back area for the utilities, like washing line, compost, garden shed, green house, and a veg patch. I am having difficulty viusalising such a transformation so any help would be wonderful. Its still a building site, so a little imagination needed when looking at the photos
