Hi there,
I recently had a consultation with an architect about our kitchen dining area. We have a standard semi-detached 4 bedroom house in suburbia. Our kitchen is currently on the side that is not joined to the other house.
The architect has suggested that we knock the wall between the kitchen and dining room, and move the kitchen to the dining room.
I love this idea but as conscious that the kitchen will not be on the wall that joins the other house.
I’m wondering has anyone done this or has anyone any advice/thoughts?
It would open up the downstairs and allow us to have more workspace as well as a utility. Hence I am loving the idea!
