Wall colour help please

I have recently painted my kitchen cabinets, it a colour I mixed myself so can’t even give an exact colour but it’s a shade of grey I suppose. I think I have decided on white wall tiles for the splash back but can’t decide what colour for the walls. Anyone able to offer any advise please?

I would like to keep it all quite light.

That’s a nice colour. Very similar to dove grey which I have. Maybe a tad lighter. Because I wanted to keep my kitchen light I painted my walls in the equivalent of Farrow & Ball Wevet. Here’s a pic ....

You really don't have any color scheme going on in here. I do see a gold range so I worked around that. Here are some ideas of colors you could add . I'm not crazy about accent walls, but you do need to add color to at least one of your walls - be it intense or even just a tint of color: Sherwin Williams Jetstream Sherwin Williams Sprout Sherwin Williams Composed I also added in a white or off white (or you could do color) back splash over your stove and counters. Once you have some color then you can add window dressings. I suggest roman shades, which you can get in many patterns and colors. Then find some art work that compliments your new colors - check on art.com, Overstock.com or Wayfair.com.

I have just had a dark north facing narrow entrance hall painted in Great White (F&B) and the inside of a stained glass hall door painted Lace Glove (Colourtrend) . I do not like the effect of the 'ice white' look from the Great White around the door and have now asked the painter to paint just that area with a deeper pink colour (Romance by Fleetwood) to match one of the colours in the stained glass. I now think it looks too pink! Another sample pot which I haven't used but very similar colour is Cinder Rose (F&B). Any suggestions as to what would warm up the area surrounding the hall door? This is what is throwing me daisy, as in some lights I think it’s like a dove grey but then in others I think it’s more of a pale cashmere 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m driving myself and my husband insane.

Ive put a white tile against it this evening and now don’t think that looks right either

I think a simple off white would look nice and not clash with the units. I rather like All White by F&B.

If you've painted your units a colour you've mixed yourself (and it looks really nice by the way) then I think it's really important to know roughly what colour it is. Could you paint some on some white paper and then try to match it to a F&B colour? I'm not sure that the tiles look quite right, they look a bit too cool perhaps?

Thank you. So try and match the wall colour to the units? Or use it to contrast?

We‘ve removed the tiles now, I was thinking white or a pale grey herringbone but haven’t actually settled on it yet

I think the most important thing is to get some tiles to work with the units. The more similar they are then they need to be 'right' if that makes sense. I would paint some paint onto s bit of board and take it to the tile shops to match them in situ. If you want something different then there are lots of options, it depends on what sort of thing you like. It might be worth buying a current fan deck from F&B to match the unit colour accurately.
