Need Inspiration for colour schemes

Hi All

I am looking for inspiration for choosing colour scheme for our new Open Plan Kitchen/Dining / living Area. We would like a rich look with accent of tropical colours or metal accents(gold/rose gold). I tried my hand on it but looks like I went too far and need a balance and correct choices of colours / texture

Looking for colour / texture for

1- Kitchen

2- Island Bar

3- Flooring (Porcelain / Stone)

4- Dining Table and Chairs

5- TV Area Sofa /

6- Rugs

7- Walls

So is your kitchen navy and green? Can you share an actual picture of the room, especially the kitchen as this will help people advise you better.

We have not bought kitchen yet. I am still in the process of deciding the colour for kitchen and all items mentioned above. I was just playing with colours to see if blue/green looks good. We are at foundation stage right now :-)

Shelves above the stove , just one more thing to clean, whatever you put there gets filthy. Love the blue color, the nice thing is in this space you could use any color. I love glass subway tiles they are timeless and come in some wonderful colors.That penquin paper is fun , how about in the bathroom or a childs room.

I am a Ben Moore fan. Look at a color called spa. It is a light green. The insets could be a little darker green like urban nature. The coolest color being used a lot is Ben Moore revere pewter. It is a gray/taupe color. Good luck

Hi Orla. I've looked at your ideabook and assume you're happy to stick with the monotone look? I'd look at papering the ŵall behind the bed in Cole and son library panel wallpaper in midnight (pic will follow but it would also look good in a light shade!). The rest of the walls I'd do in a pale but warm grey. Which way does the room face in terms of lights? Go for black bedside cabinets but maybe something with curved lines or round handles against the bed. Either glass bedside lamps with white shades or in a warm metal or pendants hung low over the bedsides, Stick to white bed linen but add a charcoal throw with lots of texture. Choose cushions with different texture and patterns from White through to charcoal. Depending on what flooring you have you could also add a grey textured rug under the bed. I'd go for plain pale-mid grey curtains. If you have the space/budget a patterned black/grey and white chair would look great. I think the key thing is texture for interest so maybe also a large antiqued mirror, a chandelier with a silk drum shade, white flowers etc.
