Softening hardscape with succulents

Lovely idea! Wondering, though, whether having plants this close to the firepit might cause deterioration of the firepit's concrete/stucco or whatever the material is? Thanks for any thoughts!

    Hello, they are watered with drip irrigation and do not provide a problem
