New Bathroom- how can I stop reflection on ceiling from shower screen?

Hi everyone, we've just finished a beautiful new bathroom (shower room) - see pics


Unfortunately, we have a big reflection over the ceiling from the ceiling lights reflecting on the support arm of the shower screen. We know the reflection can be removed by covering the top edge of the support arm with a matt covering because we've tried it with masking tape.


Is there anything else we could use as a more permanent, water resistant solution for coating the top edge of the shower arm, to prevent the reflection?


Any tips would be really appreciated. Thank you!
