Amorim cork flooring for MB, MBath and hall bath

I have carpet in MB, MBath and want to replace with cork flooring (White Forest Oak, SRT). Hall Bathroom has vinyl. total SQ FT is approx 500 for all 3 rooms. Was told it is a floating floor. I need to confirm that floating is best. There is a subfloor under the carpet (Im assuming whatever the builder put in). I was quoted about $4.69/sq foot for the product and about approx $1200 for instillation. I saw some previous comments about fading over time. I am concerned about this. Since the bedrooms/bath are on the 2nd floor, I am concerned about the noise level and was wondering if anyone can elaborate on these 3 issues: glue or floating, fading and noise level. Thank you in advance for your input.

The product you indicate is a wood-cork composite plank from Amorim - not the natural cork line. Having said that - there is data for each product regarding impact sound reduction and walking noise on the manufacturer site: https://www.amorimwise.us/products/wood-67 when you navigate to the specific line. If you switch from carpet to a hard product you will notice a difference on the lower level. Good floating installation video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5x8YF1bSx0 (and elsewhere on Youtube).
