we are doing a kitchen extension. WE are going out 4.5 m so our room will be 5.5 m wide
we are considering 2 flat roof lights of 1 x 2.5n but we are concerned they are too narrow as we have been told when looking up from inside the kitchen the opening will be 750cm in each
Thank you so much - we do, we have also a north facing house. we are putting in bifold at the end. I guess we were worried they would be a bit "skinny" and not let in much light?
Thank you - has anyone got any photos of the same size windows so we can visualise it? I dont want it to look disproportionately "narrow" for the spacE? but anything more and its a lot of an invstment -the next size up is 1.5 m x 2.5 x
Yes, they are both 1m wide, but as you can see, these are fixed on to a sloping roof, not flat, thus the opening at the base is wider than the rooflight to get max. light coming in...
hmm I see. Its quite tricky to know! ours will be flat roof, so they are saying although its 1m wide, when you look up from inside the room it wil lbe a 0.750 opening. Does this sound right? is this too small?
