Flooring decisions: to go with Birch Plywood
Comments (5)I have a similar laminate floor to yours with white walls and it looks ok, the key really is to try and warm the look up a bit with colors in accessories etc. (before and after). A plywood with a wood finished floor might look a bit extreme though, perhaps you could look at staining the ply a darker shade such as a blue? Having the 2 woods looking similar could potentially look a bit weird....See MoreLighter or darker to go with birch ply cabinets??
Comments (13)Yea I was looking at 'Petrol' colour which is a kind of Teal blue. However, it's for the entire ground floor so my plan was to go neutral and add colour instead on walls and with accessories, which will help when it comes to selling the house to renting it out as not everyone is crazy about bold pattern and colour. I was toying with sections too, but I'm not sure if it would look weird in an open plan space?...See MoreBedroom colours
Comments (4)You can really afford to go for drama in a bedroom and paint it a dark color if you like. If you find that a bit of a 'commitment' I'd go with a dark wall where your headboard should be. It would work well with the frames and mounts that are on your pictures above the bed. I can see you're currently sharing your room with a baby so a blanket box (a decent one you can sit on) would be a good investment to get those toys out of view. Don't go crazy with wood, I'd get one you could paint and change the up the upholstery on the lid so that you can update it every 5-7 years as you will with your room....See MorePaint inspo for blue/grey colour scheme in bright stair/landing
