Find your tiles first, and then decide on the paint, because you can have it exactly matched.

I need to tile a couple of walls in my bathroom which in the original design were meant to be painted. The painted walls would look better, but it's not possible now. So is there any tips on how to make a tiled wall look more like a painted one. I was thinking perhaps by using large matt tiles with grouting of the same colour? The colour is white for the tiles.

adding a small bathroom extension to garage. 5ft wide and 12 ft long. Wet room on the end wall, whb in the middle and toilet on the other end wall. I would like to have a slate tile on the floor and walls of the wet room section. Should I tile the entire room floor in the slate too?

Hi, Looking for some styling advice. We just bought our 1950's home and not sure whether to keep or get rid of the fireplace. I do think it's lovely but we are not sure what colour we would paint the walls with it. I also love the idea of a cassette stove which would give us more space in a smallish front living room. We do like mid century style and scandi style but arnt sure how to incorporate the fireplace with this. We were gifted a really nice grey L-shape couch which we want to keep in here for now. Any advice greatly appreciated!
