I have a modern front door in anthracite grey but kept my white windows I also painted my Garage door in the RAL colour to match. I hardly notice the white windows and think it sits well with the house (must add that the front facade is part rendered white) so I don't know if that balances out the white windows. My only other observation is that the frontage of your house lacks a bit of a defined entry, I feel it could do with perhaps a porch area. I have added a few pics for inspiration. There are some cleaver houzzers on here who could mock up the look you described.

Well you've already got most of the structure there. I would do a hip to gable on the front and then bring it out the depth of the existing gallows.

You could even glaze the gable for a more contemporary look.

That's from 1st Class Windows in Surrey, but any reputable door and glazing company could recreate that for you.

The white render on the porch does update the house but I think it would only work if it was tying in with white render somewhere else, ground floor level perhaps?

yes, but rendering is v expensive!

Sorry @Grant Lyon, none of those doors are mine, they were just examples to demonstrate what I was saying. This is my front door which I got from a random company I found on FB in 2017 called Nudoor. They seem to have now been dissolved according to Company house.
