Wooden stool/ chair

I’m looking for a small stool like this for next to our free standing bath and can’t find one anywhere! Can I ask where you got this one?

Hi, thanks for your message! Unfortunately the stool is something we did not provide during this project, so we assume it's something the client would've sourced themselves.

I think the flatness of the cabinets and the prominent grain of oak don't necessarily work well given the disparity in color. I would suggest a warmer wood like walnut that has some tans and darks blended, and a softer grain that would work well with the cabinetry.

I assume you meant "floor". Tiles are usually considered the safer option in areas that have potential for spills or floods. Do you have heavy traffic (shoes worn in house, animals, children, etc) in these areas? If so, then you will have to worry about scratches in the wood and the occasional sanding/refinishing of the floor. You will definitely want the underfloor heating if you live in an area that gets cold. It is a personal choice, as I put wood in my kitchen/sitting room, because I love the warm look and feel of wood. However, I constantly worry about the scratches from the chairs and stools. We don't wear shoes in the house, nor do we have any animals, but I have had to put felt pads on all of the legs of the furniture.
