Can you share how you restored the Roper oven and how it performs post restoration?

My client had been using the range/oven for years before we remodeled the kitchen. We had an appliance restorer (Antique Stove) remove it and restore it before the remodel was completed. No problems. We have also used Carolina's Antique Appliances for restoration on other projects.

Thank you. Ours would be a Roper (but it's the same questions). Any sense of how it compares to cooking with a modern oven? Can a regular repairman fix it (meaning, does it have modern parts)? Is it easy to control temperature, etc?

Those are questions for the homeowner, not the architect. But I have other clients with antique ranges and as far as I know, when something is amiss it hasn't been complicated to fix them. They do usually have pilots that need to be relit at times.
