I personally like the kitchen, kind of a Scandinavian modern look. leave the skirts, doors and trims as is. Paint wise, I am going to invite you to a kitchen gallery that I think works well with the existing aesthetic you have now. I like the "Melrose Kitchen" in this instance, as an example of wall color. The trim is painted here, but leaving yours as is, I believe, would be fine! Happy Houzzing.

I think the flatness of the cabinets and the prominent grain of oak don't necessarily work well given the disparity in color. I would suggest a warmer wood like walnut that has some tans and darks blended, and a softer grain that would work well with the cabinetry.

Hi Emeline Thank you for trying to help. I am afraid I cant remember it in great detail, I thought it was small kitchen plan, and the presses were in duck egg blue but then there was this antique cabinet glass with two doors and the comment was that the cabinet was able to store the couples big collections of glasses.
