urgent help with kitchen wall colour please
Hi everyone, please can you help.
I’m in the final stages of my kitchen refit and have picked gorgeous verdigris effect tiles from Mandarin Stone for my splashback. See photos - or this link:

I’d decided on Tea With Florence from Little Greene for the rest of that wall:

Cornforth White on the others and a strong white ceiling. There will be a mid limed oak floor, dove grey shaker cabinets with a dust grey peninsula and warm grey quartz worktops.
At this late stage I’m worried that the Tea with Florence May be too dark? The tester looks lovely on paper but I’m getting wobbly...
It’s a light south west facing room with two windows on one wall and sliding patio doors at the end.
Shall I be brave or go lighter?
Btw the decorator arrives tomorrow morning at 8....

Comments (15)We just painted a color called "Latte" over the dark red walls in our place and we keep thinking that someone left the light on! It adds that much light to the place as the red was just sucking out any light in the place. Find a color you like more for that wall and repaint...and/or maybe add a ceramic tile backsplash? Comments (7)Well I am a very plain sort of a person and I don't like overdoing patterns. The timber in the cupboards is beautiful and I feel that bench top would detract from it. I would have as plain as possible top in a cream/beige to enhance the timber. This would give you plenty of choice of other colours in the room. I don't feel I can really comment on colours as I can't tell the aspect of your room or the lighting nor do I know what other colours you have through the house.
