Window colour help please
Grey or white?
The porch is being extended to run parallel with the left hand side.
The right hand triple window will still be completely visible.

Comments (8)I would go for a stone colour so not too dissimilar to what you've got. Little Greene does a good stone colour too but will work out a bit expensive. This is Oxford stone by farrow and ball. Comments (11)This might sound a bit like being on the fence given the advice you've had already... How about a mid to dark grey ( less contrast than black), RAL 7022 is a favourite of mine (warmer grey), or look at a green grey, as something that will have the colour of the olive, with a good amount of contrast against the white render, (you won't have the warm rich colours of the brickwork as in the photos above (which the olive looks good against)). If you are painting the timber windows you would do well to look at microporous opaque stains to reduce your on-going maintenance. Comments (0)I have just had a dark north facing narrow entrance hall painted in Great White (F&B) and the inside of a stained glass hall door painted Lace Glove (Colourtrend) . I do not like the effect of the 'ice white' look from the Great White around the door and have now asked the painter to paint just that area with a deeper pink colour (Romance by Fleetwood) to match one of the colours in the stained glass. I now think it looks too pink! Another sample pot which I haven't used but very similar colour is Cinder Rose (F&B). Any suggestions as to what would warm up the area surrounding the hall door? Comments (0)Plan to have the current wood grain uPVC windows resprayed in a RAL colour to compliment the door and brickwork. Plan also to change the paint on the render, sills, etc later in the year so not worried about window colour tying into it. Door and frame are in an anthracite grey - closest would be ral 7016. Current thinking is go with a light grey colour such as ral 7035 or ral 7047. Or go with a more standard white/off white such as ral 9010. 4 years agoI like grey if it has a greenish tinge. I’m pondering this dilemma too...our house is white rendor on the first floor. Our semidetached neighbours have just installed black windows which is too harsh for my liking.

A darker anthracite would also work really well.
Have a look at the other colours on the image and see if any of them speak to you!
