Comments (14)Aliceandjohn I think your best bet is to search Houzz for inspiration rooms and ask yourself whether you like white rooms that use colour, or rooms with colour on the walls that have neutral furniture. (Or both? Either?) Collect a whole lot of pictures you like and see what predominates -- what makes you say yes, please, I want that! Comments (81)Hi Lisa, nice sofa. I had a red sofa for 10 years and loved it ( though mine was fabric) I've changed the kitchen/ living room and it stuck out like a sore thumb. I gave in and put in a grey leather sectional one and I must say it's much easier to decorate around. Are you in Ireland? Have you heard of the 1933 company, they have very nice suites. Comments (1)There are numerous ways you can incorporate your color scheme - rug, drapery, bedding, wallpaper, etc. It depends how much you want to change or add. Going with white bedding and adding layers of colors (coverlette, pillows, shams and throw) is a good way to dress the bed. Decide if you want to paint room, have a focal wall or use wallpaper.
