New kitchen grey or cream?
Comments (18)I would still do an island. You have the space. I hate having my stove against the wall. You get boxed in and forget about two people working at once. How about stove in island, fridge all the way down to the right? You don't want the fridge to interrupt work space. You will end up w two too-small spaces instead of one nice functional one. We had an island with a downdraft Jenn-air stove-worked quite well for most needs....See MoreGold Kitchen Hardware - where to find in Dublin?
Comments (2)Thanks Barry. I will try Showtime for the taps. I've found one shop in Dublin that supplies brass lacquered handles but they tell me they are really not practical or recommended for use in a kitchen as the lacquer will "break down" (they couldn't say how long this would take). I see gold coloured hardware all the time on Houzz though so I think there must surely be a material being used in those handles that is more kitchen friendly..I just cant seem to find any kitchen company that knows more about it. If anyone has experience of "gold coloured/effect" hardware in a kitchen, would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks again...See MoreKitchenAid Appliances

Comments (2)Hi all..by chance i found this site and have received great advise. So thank you. Recently bought a 2 bed terrace. The kitchen was never updated and is quite the eyesore ! Im looking to carry out a complete revamp. I'm at a loss as to how to make best use of the space. It's the one space I like to spend time in.. no kids so not a consideration. I will attach some measurements and photos. I would love to get some views/opinions from you. Unfortunately I just don't have a great eye for this . It is a compact size I guess. Dining will be in kitchen also. I'm not too bother about separate table. Love the idea of breakfast bar/small island/ galley style but I'm not sure if space allows. Ideally I'd like to extend out the back garden but it's just too expensive. Moving rads.. knocking internal walls etc are all things I'd def consider All ideas welcome....See MoreHampstead Design Hub
