Do you ever have problems with cabinet doors vibrating when washer or dryer are in use?

No -- I don't believe there was any issue with vibrations.

You're correct. Glass surfaces are more susceptible to grease and smoke from cooking.

With a sliding door, you can have each side different to match the style of the room it faces. Here are some ideas that, believe it or not, are done with sharpies on flat surfaces. I can envision a "fireplace" on the lounge side. On the dining room side, you could do the "double door" look, by putting half on the door, and half on the wall next to the door. So when the door is closed, it looks like a pair of doors, but when the door is slid open it looks like only one door (but it's the wall!) I added the 3rd picture just because I think it's so cool. I believe the only "real" thing in the room is the glass table/desk, and the filing cabinet.

Hi Emeline Thank you for trying to help. I am afraid I cant remember it in great detail, I thought it was small kitchen plan, and the presses were in duck egg blue but then there was this antique cabinet glass with two doors and the comment was that the cabinet was able to store the couples big collections of glasses. hi all, for the kitchen in a new contemporary build, I have narrowed it down to mussel coloured kitchen cabinets -handless matt acrylic (kithenstori.com ) together with white jasmine corian worktop. The floors are planned to be oak laminate and the window frames and doors white. I was wondering does anyone have mussel cabinets and do they have green undertones? What colour island will work well with mussel/jasmine white?
