Need help for my hall

My floor tiles is a combination of black and ash (grey) and my ceiling is white. Which paint color will match with these combinations. Thanks

Without seeing it, I'd say you have a lot of options with that combination - you could go with any primary colors or their mixes or pastels. Alternatively, you could use really light or really dark gray, depending on your interest in a level of drama and the lighting in the hall.

i was going to say tapestry or a glass mirrored effect, as well haha. or just a large painting that you will love to look at. your chandelier is very nice, but i've seen many with that kind of entrance, that they have those really long, pendent lighting, for a dramatic effect. but i'm thinking, you don't want to change that. or a giant clock. or one of those wall stickers. or animal heads haha. few ie attached

Maybe if you stuck to one colour scheme such as white and purple or grey and lime green, colours that compliment each other. You could have a cabinet on the larger side with some family photos or a mirror above it and maybe a single colour on the top half of the wall and a complimentary wallpaper on the bottom half. You could go for wood on the floor or a simple soft carpet but it might get muddy. You could also have a bench with storage underneath for shoes and bags, but try get a colour that matched the walls. You could also paint the banisters if they don't match the rest of the room.

I am a fan of black as a disappearing colour! If the tha bannisters were painted black the Victorian look of cast iron would fit. The walls are too pale , would you consider a dark green( FB Green Smoke) under the rail, next to the carpet, and a much lighter version above( FB Light Blue or Pale Powder). Not really sure of the shade of green in the carpet, it might be more FB Oval Room. I am fond of the Pugin look but realise it is powerful and invariably used with very dark paints. We changed our ginger brown stairs, over 3 storeys to white. 13 years later the effort was not only worth it but the pain has subsided too!

I love this gray from Benjamin Moore- it has a touch of blue. Brighter and cheerier than a straight gray.
