NEED help with my exterior colors and siding
Comments (6)Do not paint the brick!! It's part of the homes appeal and its style. Change up the stucco color to a warm gray as well as paint the fascia boards a more appealing color also (deeper charcoal or similar) a grayed green would be another option for the stucco. As long it all works with both the roof shingle and the brick these are colors worth looking at. Another option for just the gable end would be cement board shingle (Hardieboard or similar) if you want a change from stucco....See MoreExterior paintwork dilemma - what goes with dash?
Comments (9)Hi Kate, you may not be allowed to plaster the dash as sometimes house fronts are protected. For colour try Indian yellow from Farrow and Ball. This strong colour is associated with your style of house and has the advantage or drawing the attention away from the dash and onto the lighter colours. ie. windows and doors. To save costs Farrow and Ball colours can be mixed into other branded outdoor paints....See MoreAdvice on House Exterior
Comments (4)Hi, I think that you could give this house a smart contemporary look with the grey windows that you suggested. I would break each window up into two or three panels though, this would give each panel a more elegant vertical emphasis. A timber front door is always nice though, the image above shows one of our houses with a similar hip-roofed style and grey frames (the windows here are openable too). It is good to match the window frame colour to the gutters and/or eaves fascia & soffit. In this house we had an iroko timber door and eaves which brings a warm high quality feel to the house. Best of luck!...See MoreWhich camoflauge-y green/gray color for exterior?
Comments (1)Hi there - did you manage to choose? I think you may have accidentally posted a picture of the house with only one of the potential colour mock-ups you mention, but if you're still deliberating over which colour to go for would love to see the others!...See Morespb20988
