NEED help with my exterior colors and siding

I'm wanting to update my house. Its a 1940's simple tudor. I have a mix of stucco, siding on upper half and lower half is natural brick. I am thinking of painting the brick and unifying the upper half in siding of some kind. I like cedar looking siding. I love grays and browns. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Do not paint the brick!! It's part of the homes appeal and its style. Change up the stucco color to a warm gray as well as paint the fascia boards a more appealing color also (deeper charcoal or similar) a grayed green would be another option for the stucco. As long it all works with both the roof shingle and the brick these are colors worth looking at. Another option for just the gable end would be cement board shingle (Hardieboard or similar) if you want a change from stucco.

I like the stucco. I would paint the upper floor a few shades lighter than the brick. Then have some timering added to the front facing gable.

Go to www.benjaminmoore.com/explore color and you can upload a pic of your home and have fun with all different colors and textures and actually see what it would look like. A nice white wash over the brick, while still keeping the brick's integrity would be nice with grey trim and white siding.

A soft mossy or grey green would be my first impulse but Sarah's dark blue looks good. It depends on your kitchen ware. White porcelains will pop with the blue and earthy stoneware will go more with the soft greens. I'd add a shelf to extend from the cabinet across the tile and a pot rack or hooks over the stove.

Thanks everyone. The company I am using does have a lighter grey option but I didnt much fancy it, looked like it was trying to look metal or something. I'm not a huge fan of white upvc, that's what we have at the moment. I'm sure the grey will be fine and chances are after some time of living with them I might not even notice what color they are - hopefully too busy looking at our views .... or the rain! I'm off now to our local golf club which I'm told has the exact grey I'm talking about in their new lounge area. Might give me an idea. Fingers x'd I'll get it right.
