nice hearth ideas?

I’m looking for some ideas for a hearth for my fire place. It gets dirty so it would be more practical and I think it would look well too. I was thinking maybe limestone with wood logs underneath? Excuse the make shift hearth that I made with some bricks that we had any suggestions appreciated.

Pineapples seem to be a fashion thing at the moment in interior design, looking back to the eighties. With a different lampshade, plainer and perhaps cylindrical, it would be lovely. I wouldn't honestly do a lot more pineapples though, one is fun, several become a natty collection that starts to look a bit off kilter!

Fully tiled hearth under free-standing fire basket or not?

I plan on installing a free-standing fire basket in my open fire and I need to decide on the hearth. I was planning on having a tiled hearth, including into the fire chamber and under the fire basket. This seems quite common with stoves but there are not many examples of the same idea using fire baskets. Is it possible/desirable? Basically I want the look in the attached photograph, but with a fire basket instead of stove.

Hello everyone. I've recently moved to a new home. As usual there are not enough space. also I have the "empty" walls I would like to put something on them . 1. I would like to solve the empty space issue on wall Nr 2. 2. the Nr1 and Nr 3 , I am thinking to hang some shelves. but can't decide which ones.
