sheen wearing off

I want to know if there is a way to re-finish this tub as the shiny-ness has already come off in spots and it's only been installed and used for 1 year. I love the tub, but am very disappointed in the short life of the appearance of it. I do not use harsh cleaners or anything with a rough surface, just soap and water and a washcloth.

The sheen is difficult to take a photo of. The tub was shiny when we installed in a year ago, but now it's dull and not shiny.

We have similar dilemma here. My husband likes the cream tiles & although I do like the look of them in a kitchen, I also worry about them being / looking cold if they were through the whole house. Plus it would most likely be me cleaning them every day! So it will be wood floors for us.

Lovely, much better than the 3D plan. V glad you kept your patterned floor tiles, I really like them. It's all come together very attractively. The only thing I'd change and this is just because I'm a colour freak is the pendants - I'd probably have made those red and orange or something. But congrats really, it looks great.

A15) @Dara Cooke: If you can't afford a quartz or granite worktop from day one then I would recommend using a laminate worktop as a temporary solution. If you don't put tiles up as a backsplash then replacing the worktops can be relatively easy in a couple of years.
