very poor cgoic of colour and space usage

hello, i hav tried to decorate my house to the best of my knowledge and it turns out i dont know what am doing.
The skirting down throughout the house is a black tile..the doors are honey brown along with the frames. the floor tile is a dirty cream with brown strikes. Ceiling is all white.
for the sittibg room, the chairs are black and L-shape, the centre table is coffe brown and the dinning table coffee brown too but the dinning chairs are maroon with golden legs. the look is just whack!
it is a small house but i believe an expert can help me up- the look.
