Comments (10)You need to measure all this. We have no idea what size your space is. If it's 8ft Ceiling, I would think you would wanna look for 96"h Panels, and hem them if necessary, you may need several panels in a row to achieve your purpose of covering the kitchen. Put the track on the ceiling for this purpose. Put the rods for the living room window a couple inches below the ceiling, hem the curtains. You could be using the same ceiling track here as well. Or the wire track from IKEA, etc. your call....See MoreNeed help with Garage Design / Layout
Comments (3)HI Keerthi, the project turned out well, apart from the main house, I built a 9m x 6m building which I split in 2. The front 4.5m x 6m area is used for pressuried water system, gas burner and a multi fuel burner all to one side and fuels to the other. The is a door going into rear of building the same size. Theres a 3m wide by 1.2m window to the back of the bulding looking out into the garden with a glass door to the side. Its a fabulous plastered games room and may be used as a music practice room at some stage. There is a 600m floored attic for storage. I didnt get any feedback off site but still get great ideas for finishes within Houzz. Regards...See MoreI have a small; balcony in my apartment. any idea for planting
Comments (3)I would grow one or two evergreens in pots so you have some winter interest and then, depending on how sunny your balcony is in summer, try some herbs as previously suggested and also tubs of edibles such as tomatoes and strawberries. Depends how much time you have to look after the plants. Things like pelargoniums are colourful and thrive on very little watering, but won't last through the winter....See MoreHELP NEEDED! 44msq STUDIO to refurbish
Comments (20)I think the sofa bed should double up as regular seating. The place is too small to have a guest bed around at all times. Use every item you have and if possible double functions (like stools as coffee tables and sofas as guest bed). Personal note: I used to have a 1p mattress with a cover on it next to my bed looking like a 'sideboard' (because my bed was sideways against the wall it wasn't a headboard). But 25m2 really was too small for any sofa to fit in. I just had one upholstered seat and guests would sit either on my bed or on a dining/folding chair. Another floorplan, with a sofa. I really like this one, because of the open living space. Some bottom-up blinds or a nice window foil halfway up should give some bedroom privacy, yet let in enough daylight (or a low cabinet/bookshelf, like in the second rendering). Add a bench in the 'bedroom' to enjoy a coffee in the morning sun. Bed sideways is not optimal, but it's give and take in a small home. Every open spot of floor adds to the sense of space....See MoreJennifer !
