Front Door

I am considering painting the front door and around the side window. Shudders are black, trim is white. White garage doors with black hinges. Brick front with faded almond siding, it looks off white. Any suggestions for a paint color or should I leave it white?

Comments (0)hi guys. I'm about to paint our front door. I'm going to strip the paint first using paint stripper and possibly a heat gun. however on examining the door I've noticed lots of cracks. I've attached photos although I don't know if they show how deep the cracks are. it's an old house 1930 and I'm nervous about peeling back the paint and the door falling apart. 6 years agoI would paint the garage, front door and shutters a greyish black. Or paint the garage the same color as shuttes and the front door a rusty/red, which will compliment the brick and really feel welcoming. Adding a large lantern by the garage and a matching hanging fixture on your porch would also be nice additions, as well as a black urn and large mat at the front door. Color can be a big change, but also how you decorate/accessorize and it will feel more like a cute coach house.
