You might like simple horizontal "honeycomb " shades available everywhere in a variety of light filtering degrees. Lowes & places like that will cut them to size. You might have to custom order them since the windows look very short. Check out Smith & Noble's website for many option, youcan even order samples before ordering.
We would recommend Motorized Blackout Roller Shades or Cellular Shades for these windows.
Roller Shades are simple and modern, and will raise into a small and inconspicuous roll at the top of the window. They will block light and help you sleep in the mornings.
Cellular Shades are insulating, and will trap hot and cold air within the cells. These shades will also rise into a minimal stack at the top of the window during the day.
Both of these shades can be motorized and operated with a remote control for hard to reach windows.
Please let us know if you have any questions. We'd be happy to help you further and send you free swatches of our materials to help you find the best fit.
