need help with our extension
Comments (2)Hi David, If you could provide photos of the property that would be very helpful. Also, as jonathandb1972 said, any plans would be greatly appreciated here, so there is something to work with. If no plans available, even a crude drawing will be useful to help visualise the layout. What style would you like to achieve? (contemporary, country etc.). You said you'd like the extension to incorporate your current kitchen. What else would you like to have there, as it is going to be 2 storeys extension? Bedroom with en-suite? If you provide more information I can create couple of ideabooks for you to start with....See MoreNeed Help With Our Kitchen.
Comments (0)Hi Houzz Community! My girlfriend and I have recently taken over my family's B&B. As it's now in the second generation we want to bring our feel to the home. We will be renovating the Kitchen in January 2019. We love bright colours with an environmentally friendly, greens, whites, greys, light browns etc. while also keeping it classy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Please view the pictures and thanks so much for your time! - The layout is shown on the drawing and attached photos - We use this kitchen to cook the breakfast for our guests and so everything in the kitchen has its purpose ( however doesn't mean things couldn't move - but it works now) - We think the table is quite large and possibly could make it smaller - seating area for 3 - 4 people - Do you think we could fit a small island with bar stools? Thank you for your time and suggestions!...See MoreDining table advice for my new modern kitchen. Can anyone help please?
Comments (0)Have lots of space and am looking for 8 seater min, with perhaps extending to 10. Rectangular or Circular, but think rectangular would work best. Kitchen pic is of showroom, my kitchen is being fitted at the moment. I have wood effect tiles in bleached blonde on the floor and have chosen a very modern over table light. Thanks in advance....See MoreLove some advice for our open living/kitchen/office space.
Comments (0)Hello I would love to hear some advice on redecorating our open living/kitchen/office. When I first painted it we were going for that clean modern look of gray/white/yellow. Its been years like this and now with us working from home the room has a cold, office like energy to it. It's amazing how you can live in a space and not really see it for what it is. Looking at these pictures I'm ashamed to think this has been our living conditions for so long. Its been well over a year since we removed the fireplace I still have not gotten around to painting that bit of skirting board. The ability to make tangible improvements to my everyday reality has been right there at my fingertips and I failed to notice. ''High is the way but all eyes are upon the ground'' The large wall hanging was our latest attempt to add some colour. My girlfriend is drawn to those earthy colours or boho look. I'd like to make it a cosier/warmer space. With the great recommendations I've seen in other threads here I'm excited to see what advice you have....See MoreCheri Cruden
