Help for modernization of our kitchen .

We are removing the black granite and replacing with Cambria Britannica and a honeycomb gray glass backsplash. I originally wanted the cabinets to be white, but now I think I want them either a cement gray color, or a darker gray color to match the graining in the quartz. White walls. I want it to look modern, fresh and light. Should I stick with my original plan of white cabinets, white walls and gray backsplash? I could paint the uppers white and the lowers gray? Paint the lowers cement color and the island darker. Any suggestions? My husband thinks I am WAY over thinking this. I am making myself nuts thinking about this.

Also, as jonathandb1972 said, any plans would be greatly appreciated here, so there is something to work with. If no plans available, even a crude drawing will be useful to help visualise the layout. What style would you like to achieve? (contemporary, country etc.). You said you'd like the extension to incorporate your current kitchen. We will be renovating the Kitchen in January 2019. We love bright colours with an environmentally friendly, greens, whites, greys, light browns etc. while also keeping it classy. Comments (0)Hello I would love to hear some advice on redecorating our open living/kitchen/office. When I first painted it we were going for that clean modern look of gray/white/yellow. Its been years like this and now with us working from home the room has a cold, office like energy to it. It's amazing how you can live in a space and not really see it for what it is. Looking at these pictures I'm ashamed to think this has been our living conditions for so long. Its been well over a year since we removed the fireplace I still have not gotten around to painting that bit of skirting board. The ability to make tangible improvements to my everyday reality has been right there at my fingertips and I failed to notice. ''High is the way but all eyes are upon the ground'' The large wall hanging was our latest attempt to add some colour. My girlfriend is drawn to those earthy colours or boho look.
